This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.376 of 2018 dated 15.09.2018 dated 15.09.2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Surandai Police Station, Tenkasi District and quash the same as against the petitioners concerned.

2. Today, when the matter is called, there was no representation for the petitioners.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation in Crime No.376 of 2018 has been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.23 of 2022.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
