Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first and second respondents ie., the Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Chennai and the Principal Secretary/ Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai to take further action in continuation of G.O.(2D) No.12 Revenue Department dated 14.01.2016 and fbj. vz; t.ep.3(2)/10346/2016 ehs; :08.11.2016 of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai and arrange to fix the petitioner's pay in the cadre of Deputy Collector on par with her junior and to send revised pension proposals to the Accountant General, Chennai, within a specified period that may be fixed by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first and second respondents ie., the Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Chennai and the Principal Secretary/ Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai to take further action in continuation of G.O.(2D) No.12 Revenue Department dated 14.01.2016 and fbj. vz; t.ep.3(2)/ 10346/2016 ehs; :08.11.2016 of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai and arrange to fix the petitioner's pay in the cadre of Deputy Collector on par with her junior and to send revised pension proposals to the Accountant General, Chennai. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks an order of this Court to consider the representation dated 31.05.2017 with regard to the pay parity and consequential revised pension.
4. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader in this regard.
5. Since the prayer sought for herein is innocuous in nature, this writ petition, with the consent of both sides, is disposed of finally by this order at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:
"That the petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2017 with regard to the revised pay as well as pension shall be considered by the first respondent on merits and in accordance with law and to pass a reasoned order thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order".
