ORDER

The Regional Passport Officer, Madurai, is suo motu impleaded as the second respondent. Mr.Ashok Kumar Ram, learned counsel is directed to take notice for the impleaded second respondent.

2. The petitioner was issued with the passport in the year 1992. However, his name as well as his date of birth were erroneously mentioned. Therefore, seeking incorporation of correct particulars, when the passport is reissued, this writ petition has been filed.

3. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application to the Regional Passport Officer, Madurai setting out the correct particulars with regard to his name as well as date of birth. The Regional Passport Officer, Madurai shall verify, if the petitioner's averments are correct. If the petitioner's claim is found to be correct, the Regional Passport Officer, Madurai shall incorporate the correct particulars with regard to the petitioner's name as well as the date of birth while reissuing his passport. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
