Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to give permission with protection to conduct the cultural function "Adal Padal" at Perur Udayapatty,, Temple Public Stage connection with the festival of Sri Vinayaga Peruman, Sri Thottichiyamman, Sri Madurai Veeran, Sri Rajalinga Moorthy, Sri Pattavan Temple at Perur Udayapatty Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District on 09.06.2019 at 7.00 P.m., to 12.00 p.m., based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2019.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal programme on 09.06.2019 at 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 p.m., in connection with the festival of Sri Vinayaga Peruman, Sri Thottichiyamman, Sri Madurai Veeran, Sri Rajalinga Moorthy, Sri Pattavan Temple situated at Perur Udayapatty, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 09.06.2019 in connection with the festival of the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 15.05.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.05.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
