This criminal original petition has been filed to grant police protection to comply with the order dated 04.04.2014 made in GWOP.No.1 of 2013 on the file of the I Additional District Court, Madurai.

2.The petitioner seeks police protection through a representation dated 17.06.2014. Now, 3 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
