PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.598 of 2020 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent to the 4th respondent or any other independent agency and bring all the offenders to book.

O R D E R
This petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.598 of 2020 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent to the file of the 4th respondent.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the defacto complainant in Crime No.598 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent herein. He is running a Readymade Store in the name called 'Santhi Silks'. On the date of occurrence, he found six persons taking cash worth about Rs.1,16,000/- from his Store. Apart from that, other valuable documents were also found stolen. He has produced the CCTV Footage, which has been recovered from the nearby shop, before the Investigation Officer for the purpose of investigation. Even then, the investigation has not been conducted properly and the looted money has not been recovered so far.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that totally six witnesses have been examined so far and they are 1/3
searching for the accused persons. However, still, they are not in a position to secure the accused persons.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that considering the nature of the crime, a direction may be issued to the second respondent herein to monitor the investigation.
5. Considering this limited request sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Keeranur is directed to supervise and monitor the investigation done by the third respondent herein in Crime No.598 of 2020 and file a report. Further, three months time is granted to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate.
6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
