Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A-8 in crime No.220 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, apprehends arrest for the offence under Sections 147, 148 and 302 of IPC and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 14.05.2014 six named accused came into a two wheeler and attacked the deceased with knife.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the name of the petitioner is not mentioned in the First Information Report and further it is clarified that the accused belong to Madurai. But the petitioner is native of Ramnad. He further submitted that the petitioner is implicated only on the basis of confession of accused Nos.1 and 2 and even as per the allegations, the petitioner has provided a two wheeler to commit the offence. He further submitted that the petitioner does not own any two wheeler and in the FIR, only six accused names have been given and they have not stated other persons involved in this case.

4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the petitioner has given a two wheeler to the accused to commit the murder and the petitioner has been absconded from May 2014.

5. Considering the above said facts, I am of the opinion that the petitioner is not entitled for anticipatory bail. Hence, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
