ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner's land was acquired more than 35 years ago. The petitioner belongs to SC community. His land holdings appeared to have been acquired. It remains un-utilized. The petitioner wants reconveyance. The petitioner may not have legal right as such. But then, my attention is drawn to the order dated 03.12.2007 made in W.P.(MD)No.10008 of 2007 filed by the petitioner himself.

3. The petitioner's grievance is that even though the order was passed on 03.12.2007 directing the authority to consider the petitioner's request and pass order, it has not been complied with.

4. I therefore direct the third respondent to dispose of the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the third respondent to pass order one way or other. Such an order will be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
