ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, 506 (ii) and 379 of IPC in Crime No.357 of 2018 and seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that specific overtact attributed against the petitioner is that the petitioner and other accused persons were standing in the road side, at the time, the defacto complainant blows the bike horn. Thereafter, petitioner attacked the defacto complainant with knife and snatched his ornament, thereby, the defacto-complainant sustained injury and lodged a complaint against the petitioner before the respondent polic 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State submitted that injured has been discharged from the hospital. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that injured has been discharged from the hospital, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.IV, Madurai, Madurai District or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
