This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to perform the programme of Adal Padal on 13.06.2019 night at about 8.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. in Arulmighu Sri Kaliyamman Thirukovil, situated at Ulathulaipatti, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District and to provide adequate police protection, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 13.06.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 18.05.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.05.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
