The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents 2 to 8 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2025 not to change the classification of land in the 'A' register and revenue records maintained by the respondents 2 to 8 in respect of public pathway situated in Town Survey Nos.42, 45, 48 in Block No.26 in Y.New Ward, Back side to the Summer House, Puthur Village, Abisegapuram Circle, Trichy Corporation - 5 till the disposal of the appeal dated 24.12.2024, which is pending before the first respondent. 2.The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is presumptive. No cause of action has arisen for the institution of this Public Interest Litigation. 3/6
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has fairly made a submission that no order has been passed changing the classification of the land. 4.In view of the above, granting liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the event of arising a cause of action, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
