O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the selection Kabadi Tournament scheduled on 14.04.2018 at 10.00 p.m., to 15.04.2018 at 10.00 a.m., for one day held in Ammankovil ground, Shanmugarengapuram, Tirunelveli District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 05.04.2018 to the respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting "Kabadi Tournament" scheduled to be held on 14.04.2018 at 10.00 p.m., to 15.04.2018 at 10.00 a.m.,at Ammankovil ground, Shanmugarengapuram, Tirunelveli District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

pending with the respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 13.04.2018.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
