2. The petitioner apprehends that a tar road will be laid across the water body comprised in survey No.217 Chokampatti Village.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader on written instructions from the jurisdictional Tahsildar submitted that there is no proposal to lay any tar road across the petition-mentioned water body. It is further clarified that there are no encroachments therein. Recording the stand of the respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
