ORDER
The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had filed this Writ Petition seeking directions against the second Respondent to grant the permission to conduct the cultural program, ie., Aadal Paadal on 01.03.2024 between 07.00 PM to 10.00 PM in CSI Christian Aalayam First Year Sirappu Arathanai Thiruvizha at Udayanoor, Ilayankudi, Udayanoor, Sivagangai District. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instruction of the Respondents, would submit that the Petitioner may be directed to give fresh representation today (29.02.2024) and the Respondents undertake to dispose of the same today (29.02.2024) itself, as per the circular of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, issued in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019.

3.In the light of the undertaking given by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Petitioner is directed to submit fresh representation to the Respondents today (29.02.2024) itself. On receipt of such representation, the Respondents are directed to grant the permission and protection to the Petitioner to conduct Aadal Paadal programme on 01.03.2024 at CSI Christian Aalayam First Year Sirappu Arathanai Thiruvizha at Udayanoor, Ilayankudi, Udayanoor, Sivagangai District, as per the circular of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, issued in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019. The Petitioner is directed to pay necessary charges for police protection as per the said circular.
