Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of mandamus directing the respondent to provide electricity service connection for the petitioner's house property in Door No.3/495 of Kallikudi (North Village), Aruvakudi Village, Manikandam Union, Srirangam Taluka, Trichy District by receiving petitioner's application dated 04.01.2019 within the period as stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus directing the provision of electricity service connection for his property at Door No.3/495 of Kallikudi (North Village), Aruvakudi Village, Manikandam Union, Srirangam Taluka, Trichy District, for the purpose of which, he has filed an application dated 04.01.2019, before the second respondent.

2.Mrs.M.Rajeswari, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr.SMS Johnny Basha, appearing for the respondents states today that no such application has been received by either of the respondents, perhaps since the designation of the respondent concerned has been wrongly stated in the application. 3.Thus, in the interests of justice, it would suffice that the petitioner be permitted to file a fresh application. Accordingly, the petitioner is permitted to file a fresh application seeking for electricity service connection within a period of two weeks from today. On such application being received, within the time frame as stated, the same will be taken on file by the respondents and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

disposed in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of four weeks from conclusion of personal hearing. 4.This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
