ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent ro survey the petitioner land in S.F.No.919/2 situated in Poombarai village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District for an extent of 1 acre and 5 cents within time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.K.Neethimohan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner made a request to the respondents on 26.02.2019 to survey the boundary of the land belong to the petitioner at S.No.919/2 to the extent of 0.42.50 Ares at Poombarai village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District. However, since the said request has not been acted upon by the respondents, especially by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said request of the petitioner to survey the boundary of the land belong to the petitioner would be undertaken in due course, of course, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition as projected by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: "the 2nd respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's land at S.No.919/2 in Poombarai village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District, pursuant to his application dated 26.02.2019 and take necessary steps for completion of the survey and to lay the boundary stone in that regard within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
