ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent police frequently called the petitioner and his family members and harassed them under the guise of enquiry in respect of a complaint lodged by his daughter-in-law. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner's daughter-in-law lodged a complaint against the petitioner and his family members and the same was registered in Crime No.11 of 2016 and that the petitioner and his family members were called upon only for the purpose of interrogation. He would further submit that the second respondent did not cause any harassment to the petitioner and his family members. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.If at all the presence of the petitioner and his family members is required, the second respondent is directed to issue summons giving specific date, time and place and to record the statement of them. Excepting by issuing summons, the petitioner and his family members shall not be called to the Police Station. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
