Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to dispose of the appeal petition preferred by the petitioner's mother dated 02.11.2020 regarding cancellation of Patta No.291 in respect of Survey No. 127/2 situated at Pulichangadu Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2023 within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The second respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the second respondent to pass order one way or other. Interested parties shall be put on notice.
