This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent Police to take necessary steps to secure the accused persons in connection with the case in Crime No.201 of 2012 pending on his file.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police, on instructions, would submit that the case has already been closed as "action dropped".

3.In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition and the same is closed.
