Complainant Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records pertaining to the case in Crime No.42 of 2020 on the file of the 1st respondent Thiruvadanai Police Station, Ramanathapuram District and quash the same as against this petitioner.

This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned FIR in Crime No.42 of 2020 registered on the file of Thiruvadanai Police Station for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C.

2.The petitioner's counsel reiterated the contentions set out in the memorandum of grounds. The contentions urged by the petitioner's counsel are rather factual in nature. It is alleged that a counter case has also been been registered. The petitioner will have to necessarily wait for the outcome of the investigation. If the final report goes against the petitioner, the petitioner is of course at liberty to move this Court again for the relief of quashing the FIR.
