Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the program of Adal Padal on 11.06.2019 night at about 07.00 pm to 12.00 am in connection with temple festival at Arulmigu Kaliamman Thirukkovil is situated at Vannivelampatti, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representations dated 03.06.2019.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that eventhough he had prayed that he should be permitted to hold the event till 12.00 p.m, he would windup the Aadal Padal event by 10.00 p.m.

2.Recording the said undertaking, the second respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event. It is open to the second respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ incorporate such conditions as he deems fit to ensure the

smooth conduct of the event.
