This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.2, Sivakasi to complete the trial in C.C.No.67 of 2017 within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3.Originally the case was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi in C.C.No.232 of 2012 and thereafter transferred to the file of Judicial Magistrate No.2, Sivakasi and renumbered as C.C.No.67 of 2017. The case is pending for more than 5 years.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.2, Sivakasi to complete the trial in C.C.No.67 of 2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
