PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to to direct the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli, to dispose of the enforcement of arrears of maintenance petitions in Cr.M.P.Nos.391/2019, 2682/2019, 239/2020, 539/2020, 561/2020, 38/2021, 88/2021, 1152/2021 expeditiously. ORDER
The petitioner filed a maintenance case before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli and the same was allowed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli granting maintenance amount of Rs.4,000/- per month to the petitioner. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner filed a Special Leave petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, and the order passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli, was confirmed with a further direction to the respondent to pay additional maintenance amount of Rs.10,000/- per year. Subsequently, the petitioner filed enforcement of maintenance petitions in Cr.M.P.Nos.391/2019, 2682/2019, 239/2020, 539/2020, 561/2020, 38/2021, 88/2021, 1152/2021. According to the petitioner, no orders have been passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli, till date in these petitions. 2.
In the circumstances, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli, is directed to bestow his personal attention and dispose of all the cases in the enforcement of maintenance petitions in Cr.M.P.Nos.391/2019, 2682/2019, 239/2020, 539/2020, 561/2020, 38/2021, 88/2021, 1152/2021 as expeditiously as possible, but not later than six months.
