O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.55 of 2015 on the file of respondent police and to file charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) today filed a Status Report of the respondent herein/Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Ramanathapuram District. As per the Status Report, it is admitted that investigation is completed and within a short span of time, final report will be filed, after obtaining the Handwriting Expert opinion.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that the complaint was lodged long back and the case itself was registered in Crime No.55 of 2015, dated 17.11.2015 for the offence under Sections 406, 420, 294(b),120(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction can be issued to the respondent herein to complete the investigation. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent herein is directed to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.55 of 2015 in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
