O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal Scheduled to be held on 01.05.2018 at night 09.00 to 12.00 hours in connection with "Chithira Pournami Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Kalappaludaiya Ayyanar Thirukovil at Panankulam Village, Alangudy Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 06.04.2018 to the respondents to to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal Scheduled to be held on 01.05.2018 at night 09.00 to 12.00 hours in connection with "Chithira Pournami Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Kalappaludaiya Ayyanar Thirukovil at Panankulam Village, Alangudy Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2018. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the third respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 06.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 30.04.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
