O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take necessary action against the culprits and prayed for police protection for the petitioner's life and liberty based on his complaint dated 06.09.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, one Arulraj wanted to purchase his property for less amount. When he refused to do so, he threatened him with dire consequences. The complaint given by the petitioner to the second respondent did not yield any result. Hence, he has filed the present petition for police protection to his life and liberty.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 06.09.2017, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving personal hearing to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
