ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to survey the land based on the petitioner's application dated 04.03.2019 within the period of time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.J.Vijayaraja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.In order to survey the petitioner's land claims to have been belong to the petitioner in S.No.33/5 measuring to an extent of 0.30.0 Ares, S.No.33/7 measuring to an extent of 0.12.00 Ares and S.Nos.30/8 and 33/7B situated at Keelmathikaatinaan village, Nagamalai Pudukkottai Division, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District, the petitioner has given necessary application on 04.03.2019 and paid necessary fee also. However, so far, the respondents have not acted upon on the said application. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said application of the petitioner would be considered and after verifying the entitlement of the petitioner to survey the land, needful would be done and final order would be passed within a time frame. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer in this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:

"The respondents, especially, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 04.03.2019 and do the needful with regard to the grievance of measuring her lands and pass final orders thereon, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
