The petitioner seeks for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to expedite the proceedings on the basis of the second respondent's proceedings in 1996/rp4/2014 dated 19.12.2018 to revise the salary as per the petitioner's seniority and consequently direct the respondents to grant pension as per revised scale of pay from 02.02.2011 and to pay 18% interest for the delay of payment on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 19.12.2018.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation to the second respondent dated 19.12.2018 but no order has been passed and hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for the aforesaid relief. Further, it would suffice, if the said authority is directed to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the said representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this petition and without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
