This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings in C.C.No.124 of 2014 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram and quash the same.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that after conducting the trial in C.C.No.124 of 2014, the case was ended in acquittal. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

4.Recording the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
