Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to delete the name of the father of the respondents 4 to 7 and grand father of the respondents 9 to 11.

3. The petitioner claims that in respect of the rights of the said Perumal Naicker, Suit in O.S.No.382 of 2004 was filed and ended in favour of the petitioner's father. An appeal preferred by the said Perumal Naicker in A.S.No.46 of 2010 was also dismissed on 13.07.2011 and the said decree has become final. It is thereafter, the petitioner has noticed that patta was issued in favour of his grand father, Vellaiya Naicker along with the name of the said Perumal Naicker in Patta No.2891. In order to remove the name of the said Perumal Naicker, the petitioner has preferred the writ petition.

Considering the limited scope of relief, it would suffice to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.11.2024 and 20.01.2025 and dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
