Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the programs such as Adal Padal programme on 11.06.2019 at night 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m, in Arulmighu Muthumariamman Thirukkovil situated in MGR Colony, Thanakkankulam, Thirupparangundram Taluk, Madurai District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2019. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to perform the programs such as Adal Padal programme on 11.06.2019 at night 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m, in Arulmighu Muthumariamman Thirukkovil situated in MGR Colony, Thanakkankulam, Thirupparangundram Taluk, Madurai District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and police protection to conduct the Adal Padal programme on 11.06.2019 in connection with the festival of the above said temple, the petitioner has given a representation on 07.06.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
