This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and his property on the basis of the complaint dated 13.06.2016 given by the petitioner.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of a House Property situated in S.No.212/10, 212/12 of O.Siruvayal Village Group, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District to the extent of 15.10 ers; that the proposed accused by name Karuppaiyah, by creating forged documents and claiming himself to be the owner of said property, criminally trespassed into the petitioner's land with deadly weapons and damaged the compound wall, for which, he has filed a separate complaint with the 2nd respondent. It is alleged that since the petitioner's life is in danger, he has submitted a representation dated 13.06.2016 to the 2nd respondent for providing police protection. Since no action was taken thereon, the petitioner has approached this Court with the relief stated above.
