ORDER
Heard both sides.
2. The petitioner is the daughter-in-law of the second respondent. The petitioner's husband had passed away. The petitioner as well as the second respondent are under one roof. On account of the dispute between the two, the current connection has been cutoff. The petitioner therefore seeks independent connection.
3. As rightly pointed out by the learned standing counsel for TANGEDCO, that may not be possible. When there is a single house, there can only be a single connection. The learned standing counsel for TANGEDCO states that electricity connection has not been cutoff and that it is very much alive. Be that as it may, if there is any issue regarding restoration, the same shall be facilitated by the first respondent so that the petitioner is able to enjoy uninterrupted electricity supply. The second respondent is directed not to interfere with the enjoyment of the service connection by the petitioner. The Government has directed that consumption of first 100 unit shall be free. If any excess consumption is there, the petitioner shall pay the necessary charges.
