Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the impugned election notification on the file of the first respondent vide proceeding No.Na.Ka.No.6657/2018/Koo.The1

(4), dated 03.06.2019 pertaining to the Co-operative election to Pudukkottai District Central Co-operative Bank, Pudukkottai and quash the same as illegal and further direct the first respondent to complete the election process for No.MM-396, Sampattuvidhuthi Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, Pudukkottai so as to enable the directors to participate in the District Central Cooperative Bank, Pudukkottai Elections and then after to conduct election for Pudukkottai District Central Co-operative Bank, Pudukkottai within a stipulated time.

*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.RAVICHANDRABAABU, J.] The petitioner is aggrieved against the election notification issued by the first respondent, dated 03.06.2019 pertaining to the Co-operative election to Pudukkottai District Central Co-operative Bank, Pudukkottai.

2.This Court, while entertaining this writ petition, directed this matter to be decided along with another connected Writ Petition (MD)No.4952 of 2019 wherein the same election notification is said to have been put to challenge. Now, today, it is represented by the learned Special Government Pleader that the said writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.4952 of 2019 was disposed of on 10.06.2019 and consequently, the election to the subject matter Society was also conducted and results are declared on 10.06.2019. 3.

In view of the above stated facts and circumstances, we find that nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further, more particularly, when the petitioner has to only agitate the matter before the Election Tribunal under Section 90 of the Tamil Nadu C-operative Societies Act, if he has any grievance against the process of the election or the results of the same. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
