The petitioners are accused in Crime No.812 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Sellur Police Station, Madurai District for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) IPC. They have moved this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No. 812 of 2022, on the ground of compromise.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the parties are not present before this Court.

3. Since the parties are not present before this Court, this Court is not in a position to identify the genuineness of the compromise arrived at between the parties. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition.
