ORDER

This petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 not to interfere in civil dispute. 2.The petitioner's father, namely Manikkam, had already filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD) No.11220 of 2024, which was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 24.10.2025. Based on the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, the private respondents claim right over the property on the strength of a sale deed. The petitioner, on the other hand, claims right over the property based on a UDR patta. The said UDR patta was cancelled by the Revenue Divisional Officer based on the sale deed executed in favour of the fourth respondent, Selvi. 3.The fifth respondent, who is the daughter of the said Selvi, filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD) No.521 of 2026 seeking police protection. This Court, after considering the same and referring to the earlier order in W.P.(MD) No.11220 of 2024, granted police protection to the respondents 4 and 5.

4.In the present case, the petitioner seeks a direction not to interfere in a civil dispute. However, as this Court has already considered the matter and granted police protection to respondents 4 and 5 and as the petitioner's father has already suffered an adverse order, the present petition is not maintainable. The petition is hit by the principles of res judicata.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
