Prayer : Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide water, drainage and to levy house tax in the petitioner's house situated at T.S.No.1683 bearing Door No.43, Melavadampokki Street, Opp. Perumal Kovil, Madurai - 625 001 based on the presentation dated 24.05.2019.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide water and drainage facilities and to levy house tax in his property situated at T.S.No.1683 bearing Door No.43-, Melavadampokki Street, Opp. Perumal Kovil, Madurai - 625 001 based on his representation dated 24.05.2019. 2.Mr.Chellapandi, learned counsel who has accepted notice for the respondents confirms that the representation has indeed reached the office of the Madurai Corporation. However, it is yet to reach attention of the respondent concerned, who has to consider and dispose the same.

3. In the light of the aforesaid and in the interests of justice as also to avoid further lapse of time, the petitioner is permitted to appear before the second respondent on 04.07.2019 at 10.30 a.m with yet another copy of the representation dated 24.05.2019 as well as the annexures. The second respondent shall take the same on file and issue notice to both the petitioner as well as other concerned interested parties and after hearing them, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pass speaking orders on the representation in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks or in any event not beyond six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
