This petition is filed for an early disposal of H.M.O.P.No. 460 of 2018, pending on the file of the Family Court, Madurai. 1/4
2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondent herein filed H.M.O.P.No.460 of 2018 before the Family Court, Madurai, as against the petitioner, seeking divorce. Since, the petitioner has not filed counter affidavit even after affording sufficient opportunity, exparte order was passed by the trial Court on 21.10.2019. To set aside the exparte order, the petitioner filed an application and the same was allowed on 28.12.2020. As the petitioner is working in Indian Army and the above petition is pending from the year 2018, he seeks for an early disposal.
3.This Court considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and also perused the materials placed on record.
4.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and the petition is pending from the year 2018, this Court is inclined to dispose of this Civil Revision Petition with a direction to the learned 2/4
Judge, Family Court, Madurai to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.460 of 2018, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
