: Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2019 with regard to provide job to him as a driver in Thuriyur Branch, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Kumbakonam Limited), Trichy Region, Trichy.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.05.2019 with regard to provide job to him as a driver at Thuriyur Branch, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Kumbakonam Limited), Trichy Region, Trichy.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was joined as a driver in the respondent's - Corporation in the year 2010. The specific allegation against the petitioner is that he caused loss to the Corporation to the KMPL (Kilometer Per Litre) is 5.05. He would further submit that pursuant to the communication sent by the third https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent, the second respondent advised the petitioner to undergo training. Further, the second respondent has not given official communication to the petitioner to undergo training. Hence, the petitioner has approached the authorities concerned for providing an employment, but, the said request was not considered. Therefore, he has filed the present Writ Petition for the above said prayer.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is not co-operating to undergo training as instructed by the third respondent. He would further submit that if the petitioner is ready to co-operate to undergo training, appropriate orders will be issued by the respondents permitting the petitioner to join the duty.

4. In such circumstances, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that if any such communication received from the 2nd respondent, the petitioner is ready to co-operate with the 2nd respondent to undergo training and thereafter, the second respondent shall permit the petitioner to join the duty in the respondent / Transport Corporation.

5. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents to communicate the details of the training to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
