This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sri Maha Veeran Samy Kovil Vaigasi Pongal Festival situated at Lakshmapuram Kovil, Andipatti, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District which is to be held on 12.06.2019 from 07.00pm to 10.00 pm based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 12.06.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 10.06.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
