RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed by this Honble Court in Crl OP(MD) No.2412/2024 dt.15.02.2024 as directing the Petitioner to appear before any other District police station daily at 10.30 A.M instead of appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.S.SATHYACHIDAMBARAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by this Court on the petitioner, directing him to appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 1/3

a.m., until further orders, vide order dated 15.02.2024 made in Crl.O.P(MD).No.2412 of 2024.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court, vide order dated 15.02.2024, directed the petitioner to appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. The family and the friends of the victim are giving life threat to the petitioner and hence, he could not appear before the respondent Police. However, the petitioner is ready to appear before any other District Police Station. 3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the condition 8(b) imposed on the petitioner vide order dated 15.02.2024 is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, Town Police Station, Tiruchendur, daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.
