ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 323, 341 and 506(2) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, in Crime No.256 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 09.09.2018, during the festival in the local Church, there was a clash, in which, this petitioner and seven others have caused injury to the rival group. Leading to the registration of the case against them by the respondent police in Crime No.256 of 2018, this petitioner was absconding all along and therefore, final report has been filed showing that this petitioner is an absconding accused. The said final report has been taken on file in C.C.No.35 of 2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai. CRL OP(MD). No.4254 of 2020 3.Though the petitioner states that he was not aware of the case registered against him, it is unbelievable. Since the other accused are all known persons and the First Information Report reveals overt act against this person, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
