ORDER

The Criminal Revision is directed against the order dated 31.01.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.4224 of 2009 in M.C.No.18 of 2007 on the file of the Court of the Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam. 1/4

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the matter has been settled between the parties and he has also filed an affidavit sworn by the respondent, wherein, the respondent has stated that she has received Rs.2,50,000/- towards permanent alimony and they have no objections for setting aside the impugned order. The affidavit filed by the respondent is recorded.

3. In view of the above, the impugned order dated 31.01.2025 is hereby set aside. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Case stands allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released forthwith, unless his custody is required in connection with any other case. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
