This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 23.04.2018 to grant permission to conduct the "Kovil Thiruvizha" as well as other programmes and also to conduct the "Aadal Padal" on 05.06.2018 at about 06.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in temple namely "Shree Sithivinayagar Kovil" at Velappudaiyanpatti, Neerpalani post, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2.Heard Mr.T.Palpandi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Aadal Padal" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
