O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to sanction the educational loan of Rs.8,98,000/- to the petitioner for studying in Bachelor of Architecture Course.

2. Heard Mr.M.Mohamed Sherbudeen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Pala Ramasamy, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that the fees structure quoted by the petitioner herein is exorbitant and that it requires a detailed enquiry and on ascertaining the actual fees amount of the college, the petitioner's application would be processed. It is always well within the powers of the respondent herein to ascertain and verify the fee structure quoted by the loan applicant and thereafter take further course of action.

4. In the light of the above observation, there shall be a direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's loan application and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
