ORDER

The petitioners are facing trial in S.C.No.309 of 2019 on the file of the IV Additional District Judge, Madurai, for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b) of IPC and Section 3(1) of Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992 and Section 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860.

2.The defacto complainant Murugan is present in person before me. He is identified by his counsel and also Thiru.C.Krishanan, Special Sub Inspector of Police, C4-Thilagar Thidal Police Station. The complainant has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.4393 of 2020 3.I am, therefore, of the view that the continuation of the impugned proceedings is not going to serve purpose. In this view of the matter, the impugned proceedings stand quashed. This criminal original petition is allowed.
