Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing respondents i.e., the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Chennai and the Regional Manager, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Tiruchirappalli to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 11.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders based on Government instructions issued in Government Letter (Ms.) No.92/S/09, dated 22.07.2009 and his pathetic family situation within a stipulated time, that may be fixed by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 11.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders based on Government instructions issued in Government Letter (Ms.) No.92/S/09, dated 22.07.2009 and his pathetic family situation within a stipulated time, that may be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent, on 11.03.2019, by requesting to transfer him to his native place as per the guidelines issued by the Government of Tamilnadu in Government Letter (Ms.) No.92/S/09, P&A Department, dated 22.07.2009. So far no order has been passed. Hence, this writ petition has been filed before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Mr.Mayarajan, learned Standing counsel takes notice for the respondents and stating that the said representation is pending before the first respondent and the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 11.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
