This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 1 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 1 of 2019 and also filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagercoil and the same has been taken cognizance in CC. No. 300 of 2021.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report.
