O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to forbear the respondents for selecting /appointing the candidates through Combined Civil Services Examination-4(Group IV) for the year 2018-19 dated 14.6.2019 against the vacancies that arose in view of non-joining/resignation of the candidates selected and appointed in Combined Civil Services Examination-4(Group IV) for the years 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 vide in
Notification No.23/2017 by virtue of the Notification No.7 of 2020 dated 07.02.2020 on the file of the 3rd respondent.

The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent had issued a Notification No.23 of 2017 dated 14.11.2017 inviting applications through online upto 13.12.2017 for the combined Civil Services Examination 4 (Group-IV) for the years 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. Based on the said notification, the petitioner has applied for the post of Village Administrative Officer/Junior Assistant (Non Security/Junior Assistant (Security)/Field Surveyor/Draftsman. In the written examination, the petitioner has scored 231 marks out of 300 and on 03.01.2019, the petitioner was asked to appear before the third respondent. Accordingly, he appeared before the third respondent for Certificate verification. However, the third respondent Officials informed that the reserved post were filled up and the petitioner would be accommodated in the vacancies if arise due to non-joining of candidates in the allotted posts. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the selection process was completed and the candidates were selected.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without challenging the notification and selection process, filing a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is not sustainable one. Further, the selection process was completed and the candidates were selected. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
