Heard Mr.V.Chandrasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. By consent on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 10.03.2018. After having waited for more than 5 years, the petitioner having not been favoured with any relief and as a last sort, submitted a representation and apprehending that the representation will not be considered within a reasonable time, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts of this case, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 10.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with the copy of this order to the second respondent for effective compliance.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
